Did you know:

  • Properly inflated tires could improve your gas mileage by up to 3 percent.

  • Watching how you drive can improve your car's mileage per gallon, cutting global warming pollution and saving you anywhere from $200 to $500 each year.

  • Idling for more than ten seconds uses more gas and creates more pollution than simply restarting your engine.

Action Steps:

  • Avoid unnecessary driving-plan out car trips.

  • Ride a bike.

  • Maintain your car properly– keep tires properly inflated.

  • Drive wisely– reduce idling, cut down on air conditioning.

  • Use a greener vehicle.
