NeuroBehavioral Facility Core Rates

(effective through June 30, 2008)

*Rates will change on July 1, 2008*

Chamber Rental with Technician = $43 per hour

Chamber Rental without Technician = $32 per hour

Data Analysis = $40 per hour

Evaporated milk = $1 per can

Rodent Tattooing = $43 base charge plus 50¢ per animal

*Please Note:

The service fees for the NeuroBehavioral Facility Core (NBFC) have remained the same since January 1, 2006.  To keep up with increased operating costs we are required to increase our service fees starting in the new fiscal year.

Starting July 1, 2008, the new rates are:
      -Chamber Rental with Technician = $50 per hour
      -Chamber Rental without Technician = $40 per hour
      -Data Analysis = $60 per hour
      -Rodent Tattooing = $50 base charge plus 50¢ per animal
      -Evaporated Milk = $1 per can

These service fees are still below the actual reimbursement costs for the NBFC due to support provided by the:
• Department of Environmental Medicine
• Department of Pediatrics
• Environmental Health Sciences Center
